2,900 Members, and Counting!

Austin Internet of Things is a community driven organization focused on promoting the advancement of IoT in Austin, Central Texas, and the world. We hold free, informational and educational meetups, sessions, and workshops at varying locations several times each month. Our goal is to exist in the space where technology and business meet. Austin IoT covers all things IoT, from the deepest in technical theory, to the basics of starting your own IoT startup. Our growth over the past four years has been phenomenal. Help us keep it going. If you have something cool you’d like to share with our group in a short 30-40 minute presentation, let us know and we’ll get you on our calendar!

Main Meetup
Our main meetup is held at Actian on Hwy 183 in North Austin, on the 4th Tuesday of each month. The main meetup features a speaker format, with an open networking meet and greet from 7:00-7:15pm. Meetups generally run from 7-9pm.

Co-Working Focus Meetup
Twice each month between our main meetups, we have a Co-Working Focus meetup. At these sessions members are invited to bring in projects they are currently working on and work together with others in a collaborative spirit. Co-Working meetups usually run from 7pm-9pm, and are held in the Community Room at Whole Foods at The Domain.

We are currently in the process of resuming our IoT Workshop Series. Please check back for updates.
